# Privacy Policy for FlipDesk

FlipDesk ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed as an indie utility application. This Privacy Policy informs users about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when using FlipDesk.

### 1. Information Collection and Use

**FlipDesk does NOT collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information.**

* **No User Accounts:** There is no registration, login, or account creation required to use the App.
* **No Cloud Servers:** We do not operate remote databases or cloud servers to store your personal data.
* **Local Storage Only:** All user preferences (such as selected clock themes, 12/24-hour display format, seconds toggle, timer durations, sound and vibration settings) are stored strictly locally on your device using Android's native secure local storage (`SharedPreferences`).

### 2. Third-Party Service Providers (Advertising)

The App uses **Google AdMob** to display non-intrusive advertisements in designated areas (such as when controls are expanded or upon timer completion). 

Third-party vendors, including Google, may collect pseudonymous identifiers and device information to serve ads based on user interactions:
* Google Mobile Ads SDK may process advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID / GAID), coarse device metrics, and diagnostic information in accordance with Google's policies.

### 3. Device Permissions

FlipDesk requests only the minimal permissions necessary for core utility functionality:
* `WAKE_LOCK`: Used strictly to keep the screen illuminated while functioning as a desktop clock or focus timer (toggleable by the user in Settings).
* `VIBRATE`: Used exclusively to provide subtle tactile haptic feedback during 3D flip card transitions and upon timer countdown completion.

### 4. Children’s Privacy

FlipDesk is a general-audience utility clock and productivity tool. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
